The Divisions

Workshare and Transportation
In addition to these major locations, Airbus also has a number of other plants in different European locations. Large A380 parts are brought by ship to Bordeaux, France, and then they are transported to the Toulouse assembly plant through a specially enlarged waterway and road route. The company also has multiple suppliers across the world to support its products.
The famous Whale shaped ‘Beluga’
The famous Airbus Beluga has remained an instrumental solution for moving aircraft parts between the different factories and the assembly plants. It is a huge cargo aircraft capable of carrying entire sections of fuselage. An exception to this scheme is the A380, whose fuselage and wings are too large for sections to be carried by the Beluga.
