Avelo Airlines is a newly started low-cost American Airline. Also, this year the Airline will extend its services to US East Coast. The carrier is offering flights from Tweed-New Haven Airport in Connecticut.

The airline first started its air services on 28th April from Burbank, California. As per the news on 6th May, the airline will start its services between July and September from Tweed by utilizing Boeing B737-700s aircraft.
Avelo has consented to assist in the redesign and modernize offices at Tweed, for which the airline will speculate $1.2 million. However, the carrier has not unveiled the airways it will serve from the metropolis. These endowments are essential for a $100 million refurbishment project. The project is in progress at Tweed, will incorporate the development of another terminal and a runway augmentation.
At Tweed, the airline plans to hire more than a hundred employees in which pilots, cabin crew, technicians, and customer service personnel are included.
In past years, commuter carriers flew from Tweed to different places inside England. Over the most recent 15 years, carriers have served from New Haven cities to urban communities, including Baltimore, Cincinnati, Philadelphia, and Charlotte, as indicated by Diio information.
Nowadays, Tweed has only one airway to Philadelphia for commercial airlines. That route is operated by Republic Airlines for American Airlines.
Westchester country airport in New York and Hartford’s Bradley International Airport are both 1hr drives away from Tweed and a little away from LaGuardia and John F Kennedy International airport. These airports are also available for Southwest Connecticut.
